1- What Airport will we fly into?
Kahului,HI Airport (OGG).
2- What is the weather like in December?
Pleasant, warm daytime temperatures in the low 80’s Fahrenheit. Evenings cool enough to require a jacket. Temperatures drop into the 60’s.
3- How many games would we play?
Each team is guaranteed 3 games over 4 days. ( 1 game per day)
4- When will the brackets be released?
To avoid multiple bracket versions, we will release the brackets in November (2026).
5- How many brackets are there and which will we play in?
We will have two eight team brackets. Our staff will be sending out a form to gauge the level of your team to best seat them on the right bracket.
6- Will we be able to practice?
Currently, we don’t plan on providing a place to practice. As we get closer to the tournament, it’s possible that Lahaina Luna High School will have some time to allow shoot arounds and short walk throughs.
7- Do we need to bring basketballs to Hawaii?
No, we will provide game balls for you.
8- Should we bring both our home and away uniforms?
Home and away teams will be assigned when the final brackets are out.
9- Where will the games be played during the tournament?
All games will be played at the Lahaina Civic Center.
10- Are there special rules for this tournament?
We are using the Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) rules for the tournament. They use a 35 second shot-clock.
11- Can we stay longer at the resort?
I would strongly suggest talking to Jennifer Sato about that at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa about extending your stay.
12- What additional costs should we budget for while staying on the island?
We have negotiated a special breakfast buffet rate for teams and families for this event. I would budget for all lunches and dinners. Team activities and laundry are also costs to keep in mind.
13- How does transportation work?
Each team is responsible for all ground transportation while on the island.
